Pricing Overview

Below are some pricing options to consider based on volume and shooting requirements.

Piecemeal - $150 + $25 per room thereafter

Not all listings are alike, so a possible option is to have a piecemeal setup where each shoot has a different fee attached to it. The benefit of a system like this would be if the majority of listings are small units, up to 1b/1b. Issues would be that some clients may feel neglected if they aren’t getting the same package as someone else.

Includes

  • Up to 1b/1b + Patio (5 images)

  • Building Exterior

  • $25 per extra living space or amenity room

  • 48 hour (usually 24 hour) turn around

  • 30 minute drive range (extra for long distance shoots)

Mid-Range Package - $250 (Up to 15 images)

Parting shoots out might be too complicated for the simple task of documenting a property. Invoicing also becomes easier for me, so I don’t mind cutting a bit of a deal. And the 15 photos is a soft cap. Going a few images over is fine sometimes, but if the regular shooting requirements start spiking up, we would need to renegotiate pricing. Shooting and editing 25+ images per home would become incredibly time consuming.

Includes

  • Up to 15 images per location (Including, but not limited to: Interiors, Amenities, and a few photos of the street view)

  • Building Exterior

  • $25 per image after 15-20

  • 48 hour (usually 24 hour) turn around

  • 30 minute drive range (extra for long distance shoots)

Salary Employee

When and if Purplebricks really takes off in the area, which I hope it does, the numbers greatly favor a salary employee like myself to be on call, with an easy booking system if given 24 hour notice. It would allow for the agents to offload all photo related needs and greatly reduce their time requirements of meeting with the clients to go over preparation, scheduling the best time for the agent, home owner, and photographer, as well as coming back a second time with said photographer.

Includes

  • Unlimited interiors, exteriors, amenities, local attractions & lifestyle shots during slow times of targeted areas.

  • Travel to full coverage area of Albert Ngai’s team (will need to be discussed further)

  • 24 hour (often same day)

  • Greatly reduced overall costs associated with yearly photography budgets

  • More in depth editing per shoot. Instead of charging for more extensive Photoshop editing, it could be done during downtime to push the quality of the shoots higher

  • Slideshow of images to offer clients who like a more video like tour of the home.

  • Video Walk through could be an optional service, but I hesitate to 100% include this because it will not be manageable during very busy seasons due to time constraints

  • Oversight of images on the top 3-5 major sites to keep track of listing quality

  • Full client side management of client’s requirements to prepare the home for photography, scheduling, and meeting with clients as a Purplebricks representative
